Ghosts & Ghouls at Shakespeare's Globe brings the witches, spirits and scary happenings of Shakespeare's most chilling plays to life this October half term, with spooky family tours, hands-on workshops and Halloween activities on Bankside.
Running from mid-October through half term, the programme has something for every age. Join a Ghosts & Ghouls Family Tour of the Globe Theatre, bring Macbeth or Twelfth Night to life in a family workshop, or catch MakeBeth, a new interactive retelling of Macbeth made from recycled cardboard. In the exhibition, children can help the Wyrd Sisters concoct a spell and find out how the Globe makes its ghost costumes, with free face painting on 30 and 31 October.
Just a short walk along the river from Sea Containers London, the Globe makes an easy half-term outing. Pair a morning on Bankside with lunch by the Thames or an overnight stay at Sea Containers London for a spooky family break.
