FAQs

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made before 6pm the day before arrival. If you cancel after 6pm the day before arrival, you will be charged a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax. Fully pre-paid bookings are non-refundable. Policies can vary for specials and packages. Please review the booking description of your reservation.


What times are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is available from 3pm and check-out is until 12 noon on the day of your departure.

Guests must be 18 with valid I.D. to check-in. A valid credit card is required at check-in. In addition to room and tax, an additional £100 per night will be held on your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges. 

Is there an option for early check-in or late check-out?

Neither is guaranteed however, we’re happy to accommodate requests whenever possible.

Do you have parking?

There are limited parking spaces available at an additional £45 per 24 hours from Sunday – Thursday and £49.99 per 24 hours from Friday – Sunday, subject to availability on the day.


Do you allow pets in the hotel?

Sea Containers London is a pet-friendly hotel. The animal must weigh 20lbs or less, and a damage waiver must be signed upon arrival. There is a £100 deposit for pets. Only dogs are only allowed in Sea Containers Restaurant, but are not allowed in the bars or common hotel areas such as The Den. Animals should never be left unattended in any area of the hotel, including guest rooms.

Do you allow dogs in the restaurant?

There are areas of the restaurant dedicated to doggy dining which are available on a first come first served basis. We kindly ask that all dogs and owners follow our house rules and be respectful of our staff and other diners.


Can I store luggage at the hotel?

Luggage storage is available to guests of the hotel through the Front Desk at no charge. Luggage can be held at the hotel during your stay for up to 24 hours after departure. The hotel is not responsible for luggage stored over 24 hours after departure.


Can I buy a gift card?

Gift Cards are available to purchase here.  


Can I prepay for my booking?

Prepaid bookings require a Credit Card Authorisation Form to be completed and emailed back to the hotel. This form is available by calling the hotel directly. Such submissions are subject to our Privacy Policy.


Are your bedrooms non-smoking? 

Sea Containers London is a non-smoking (including e-cigarettes) property except for the Superior Patio Rooms, where smoking is permitted outside on the patio. 12th Knot permits smoking on the terrace until 10 PM. Smoking is also allowed on the river walk alongside the hotel, and cigarette posts are provided for guest use. A fine of £350 will be issued if guests are found to have smoked in their rooms.


Do you offer a shuttle service?

We don’t offer a shuttle service, but our Front of House team can arrange private transportation for you.


Do you offer room service?

Yes, we offer in-room dining. Please order via our app or TV.


Is it possible to arrange additional amenities or gifts?

Our reception team are happy to help with these requests, please get in touch with them before your stay.


Can you provide cribs?

Sea Containers London is family friendly and we can provide cribs on request. Please advise the team if you need one in advance of your stay.


Are your rooms wheelchair accessible?

We have 36 accessible rooms that are wheelchair accessible. Please book these in advance to ensure availability.
