We are also home to Kate Kerr London, an independent clinic based within agua Spa, offering advanced medical-grade facial treatments. Appointments with Kate Kerr London should be booked directly through their team.
Which skincare and wellness brands do you use?
We've carefully selected professional brands that share our belief in thoughtful, results-driven wellbeing.
Our treatments feature:
111SKIN
Soveral
Natura Bissé
Hedgerow by agua – our own certified organic collection, handcrafted here at the spa
Many treatments can also be enhanced with Ross J. Barr wellness patches, offering gentle support for sleep, calm, recovery and everyday wellbeing beyond the treatment room.
For our aromatherapy massages, your therapist will create a bespoke blend of essential oils during your consultation, ensuring every treatment feels personal to you.
Are treatments personalised?
Always. Every experience begins with a consultation, giving your therapist time to understand how you're feeling, your lifestyle and what your body needs on the day.
From massage pressure and aromatherapy blends to facial techniques and treatment focus, every detail is tailored to you.
Our therapists undertake continual professional development with our treatment partners and receive advanced massage training through the JING Institute, enabling them to adapt treatments for a wide range of health needs and preferences.
We also offer specialist treatments for pregnancy and women's wellbeing, and many of our treatments are suitable for both men and women.
Can I change my treatment on the day?
Whenever possible, yes.
If, during your consultation, your therapist feels another treatment would better support your needs, they'll talk you through the options before making any changes.
Subject to availability, you're also welcome to extend your treatment or add additional therapies to your visit.
Do you offer any self-guided wellness experiences?
Yes. Alongside our therapist-led treatments, we offer a selection of self-guided wellness experiences to complement your visit.
Our mineral-rich geothermal mud ritual can be enjoyed in the steam room and is suitable for both the face and body. Your therapist or our reception team will explain how to apply it, allowing you to enjoy the experience at your own pace.
We also have Therabody recovery equipment, including the Theragun and Theraboots, available to use in the spa lounge. Our team will be happy to demonstrate how they work.
What is Hedgerow by agua?
Hedgerow by agua is our exclusive collection of certified organic skincare and wellbeing products, created here at the spa.
Inspired by Britain's wild hedgerows and rooted in herbalism and aromatherapy, each product is handcrafted in small batches using locally sourced botanical ingredients chosen for their scientifically recognised therapeutic properties.
Our qualified aromatherapists formulate every product in our on-site spa laboratory, creating treatments and homecare that reconnect guests with the restorative power of nature.
You can also experience Hedgerow through our seasonal workshops in agua Studio, where we share the stories, ingredients and rituals behind the collection.
When can I book a treatment after surgery or medical treatment?
Your wellbeing always comes first. If you've recently had surgery or are undergoing medical treatment, we recommend speaking with your doctor before booking a treatment.
As general guidance, we advise waiting approximately:
Six months following major surgery before massage or body treatments
Two weeks after aesthetic injectables before facial treatments
Following a thorough consultation, many of our treatments can be adapted to support guests recovering from surgery or managing ongoing health conditions.
What should I wear during my treatment?
Your comfort and privacy are always our priority.
Our therapists use professional draping techniques throughout every treatment to ensure you feel comfortable at all times.
You're welcome to wear your own underwear if you prefer. Where appropriate, disposable underwear will be provided.
If you're joining us for Thai Massage, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing, such as yoga or loungewear, to allow for gentle stretching and movement.
What qualifications do your therapists have?
Our therapists combine exceptional technical expertise with a genuinely caring approach.
Every therapist is qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or an equivalent international qualification) as a minimum and completes comprehensive training before treating guests at agua Spa.
Alongside Sea Containers London induction, health and safety training and ongoing professional development, our therapists receive annual education from our skincare partners and advanced massage training through the JING Institute.
This continual learning allows them to personalise every treatment with confidence, skill and care.
Can I choose the music during my treatment?
Our treatment rooms are usually accompanied by a carefully curated ambient soundtrack designed to encourage relaxation.
If you'd prefer complete silence, or would like to listen to your own music, simply let your therapist know. We'll be happy to tailor the environment to help you feel completely at ease.
agua Advanced Massage Treatment
What is an agua Advanced Massage?
Our agua Advanced Massage is a deeply personalised treatment combining advanced massage techniques to release muscular tension, encourage mobility and circulation, and bring the body back towards balance. Our seasonal warm compress and muscle relief balm, infused with peppermint, rosemary and St John's wort, add another restorative layer to the ritual.
Who is agua Advanced Massage suitable for?
This treatment is ideal if you're experiencing muscular tension, looking to improve mobility or simply need time to release stress and deeply unwind. Your therapist will listen to what your body needs and shape the treatment around you.
How often should I have an agua Advanced Massage?
For general wellbeing, every four to six weeks can create a restorative rhythm. If you're working with a particular area of tension or discomfort, your therapist may recommend a more regular treatment plan based on your individual needs.
Can I choose the massage pressure?
Absolutely. You'll share your preferences before your treatment and discuss them further with your therapist during your consultation. Pressure can also be adapted throughout the massage - we encourage you to let us know what feels right for your body.
Is massage safe during pregnancy?
For pregnancy, we offer our dedicated Mum-to-Be Massage and Maternity Experience, rather than the agua Advanced Massage. Pregnancy massage is available from 13 to 32 weeks and is carefully adapted to support your changing body. Our Maternity Experience combines a 60-minute facial with a 30-minute pregnancy massage.
Can I have a massage after exercising?
Yes. Massage can be a wonderful complement to movement, helping to ease muscular tension and support relaxation and recovery. If you've completed an intense workout, let your therapist know so they can adapt the pressure, pace and techniques to how your body is feeling.
Can I have a massage if I am living with or recovering from cancer?
In many circumstances, massage can be thoughtfully adapted for guests living with or recovering from cancer, offering time for rest and gentle reconnection with the body. Please tell us about your diagnosis and any current or previous treatment when booking so we can ensure your experience is appropriate for you. We may also recommend seeking guidance from your healthcare team before your visit.
Hot Stone Massage Treatment
What happens during a Hot Stone Massage?
Our Hot Stone Massage brings together intuitive massage, smooth heated stones and a bespoke blend of essential oils. The warmth helps muscles soften, allowing your therapist to work more deeply while creating a grounding sense of comfort and calm throughout the body.
Which oils are used?
Your essential oils are blended especially for you. During your consultation, your therapist will explore how you're feeling and what you'd like from your treatment before creating an aromatherapy blend to complement your individual needs.
Are the hot stones simply placed on the body?
No. The stones become part of the massage itself, moving fluidly across the body as their warmth helps muscles soften and release. Your therapist may also leave a warm stone resting on an area once it has been massaged, creating a grounding moment of stillness.
Can I choose my essential oils?
Yes. Your therapist will guide you through the selection and create a bespoke blend around how you'd like to feel - whether that's calm and grounded, restored and rested, or refreshed and uplifted.
Is Hot Stone Massage suitable for everyone?
Not always. You'll complete a consultation before your treatment so we can make sure Hot Stone Massage is right for you. It may not be suitable during pregnancy or for guests with certain medical conditions, including reduced sensitivity to heat. If you're unsure, please speak to our team before booking.
What are the benefits of Hot Stone Massage?
The combination of therapeutic touch and gentle heat can help ease muscular tension, encourage circulation and invite deep relaxation. As warmth moves through the muscles, the body can begin to soften, release and settle into a deeper state of rest.
Will the stones feel too hot?
They shouldn't. Our stones are carefully heated and checked throughout your treatment so the warmth feels comforting rather than intense. Your therapist will also adapt the temperature, pressure and placement to you - simply let them know at any point if you'd like something adjusted.
Soveral Signature Facial
What is the Soveral Signature Facial?
A deeply nurturing, bespoke facial combining botanical skincare with expert facial massage. Your therapist works intuitively with your skin to cleanse, nourish and restore, creating a treatment that cares for both your complexion and your sense of wellbeing.
Who is the Soveral Signature Facial suitable for?
The facial can be tailored to a wide range of skin types, including dry, dehydrated, dull, sensitive and combination skin. Your therapist will begin by listening to your concerns and assessing your skin before personalising the experience to what it needs that day.
What skin concerns can the Soveral Signature Facial support?
The treatment is designed to support hydration, radiance, texture, elasticity and overall skin health. It can also help care for sensitive or congested skin, leaving the complexion feeling nourished, plumped and beautifully restored.
Is there any downtime?
There is usually no downtime. You may experience a little temporary redness following facial massage, but this should settle quickly. Most guests leave with skin that feels refreshed, nourished and beautifully radiant.
Can I have the facial if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. Soveral's gentle botanical formulations make this a beautiful choice for many sensitive skins. Your therapist will assess your skin during your consultation and adapt the products and techniques to create a soothing experience around its individual needs.
Can I have the facial after Botox or fillers?
Yes, but we recommend allowing at least two weeks after Botox or dermal fillers before having a facial. Please always tell your therapist about any recent aesthetic treatments so they can adapt massage pressure and techniques where necessary.
Can I have the facial after a chemical peel or laser treatment?
Your skin should be fully healed before having a facial. Please tell us about any recent professional skin treatments when booking and again during your consultation, so your therapist can ensure the treatment is right for your skin at that time.
Natura Bissé 90-Minute Deep Cleanse Facial
What happens during the Natura Bissé 90-Minute Deep Cleanse Facial?
A complete reset for the complexion, this 90-minute ritual combines deep cleansing, a Glyco 3 peel, steam and, where needed, gentle extractions. Cooling sculpting tools and detoxifying massage help calm and decongest the skin before a deeply hydrating mask restores moisture and comfort. The result is skin that feels balanced, smooth, refreshed and beautifully radiant.
What are the benefits of the Deep Cleanse Facial?
Designed to restore balance and support overall skin health, the treatment deeply cleanses and hydrates while helping to refine the appearance of pores, smooth uneven texture and clear congestion. Skin is left feeling fresher, softer and more radiant.
Will my skin be extracted?
Where your skin would benefit, gentle extractions can be incorporated after steaming. Your therapist will assess your complexion first and only perform extractions where appropriate, always working carefully and with your skin's comfort in mind.
Is this treatment suitable for acne-prone skin?
It can be particularly beneficial for congested and breakout-prone skin. Deep cleansing helps remove excess oil and impurities, while the Glyco 3 peel supports smoother-looking texture. If your skin is particularly inflamed or sensitised, your therapist may adapt or avoid certain areas to protect the skin barrier and minimise irritation.
Can I have this facial after injectables, peels or other professional skin treatments?
Please tell us about any recent aesthetic or professional skin treatments when booking. Because this facial includes a resurfacing Glyco 3 peel, your skin needs time to recover fully before another active treatment. Depending on what you've had, we may recommend waiting around six weeks or following the specific guidance of your doctor or practitioner.
How will my skin feel afterwards?
Expect skin to feel deeply cleansed, soft and hydrated, with a fresher, smoother and more luminous appearance. Think of it as a restorative reset for skin that feels congested, unbalanced or in need of renewed clarity.
Is there any downtime?
You may experience some temporary redness following the Glyco 3 peel, although the cooling stage of the facial helps soothe and calm the complexion. For the following three to five days, avoid exfoliants, peels, retinoids and direct sun exposure, and protect your skin each day with SPF 50.
111SKIN Cryotherapy Facial
What happens during the 111SKIN Cryotherapy Facial?
This cooling, results-led facial begins with a deep cleanse and citric acid exfoliation before a hyaluronic booster replenishes hydration. The delicate eye area receives focused care with lifting eye gel and a cooling wand, followed by 111SKIN's Cryotherapy Mask and cryo globes to sculpt, soothe and de-puff. The ritual finishes with SPF 50 and a radiance mist.
What are the benefits of the Cryotherapy Facial?
Cooling cryotherapy techniques help reduce the appearance of puffiness and redness while refreshing tired-looking skin. Combined with 111SKIN's high-performance skincare, the treatment leaves the complexion feeling hydrated, sculpted and refreshed, with a firmer, more radiant appearance.
Will the treatment feel very cold?
You'll notice a distinct cooling sensation as the cryotherapy tools move across your skin, but it should feel refreshing rather than uncomfortable. Your therapist will work intuitively and adapt the experience to your comfort throughout.
Can the Cryotherapy Facial help with puffy eyes?
Yes. The treatment pays particular attention to the eye area, combining a cooling wand with 111SKIN's lifting eye gel to help reduce the appearance of puffiness, dark circles and fine lines while leaving the area looking brighter and refreshed.
Can I have the Cryotherapy Facial before an event?
Absolutely. Its cooling, sculpting and brightening effects make this a beautiful pre-event ritual, leaving skin looking smooth, refreshed and radiant. Depending on how your skin usually responds to facials, we recommend booking either the day before or on the day of your event.
Is the Cryotherapy Facial suitable for all skin types?
It can be adapted for most skin types and is particularly suited to dehydrated, puffy or dull-looking complexions. Your therapist will assess your skin before beginning and tailor the 111SKIN products and techniques to its individual needs.
Should I change my skincare routine before the facial?
Your usual gentle skincare routine can continue, but we recommend avoiding retinoids and strong exfoliating acids for around five days beforehand. Please also tell us about any recent injectables, peels or other professional treatments when booking so we can advise whether the facial is suitable at that time.
Reiki Treatments
What happens during a Reiki treatment?
You'll lie comfortably on a treatment bed, cocooned in soft towels while calming music plays. Your therapist may begin by guiding you through a few gentle breaths before placing their hands lightly on, or just above, different areas of the body. There is nothing you need to do - simply settle into the stillness and allow yourself to rest.
What does Reiki feel like?
Every experience is different. You may notice warmth or tingling, feel deeply relaxed, see colours or simply drift into that peaceful space between waking and sleep. For others, the experience is one of quiet stillness. There is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki.
Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No particular belief or experience is needed to enjoy Reiki. Simply come with an open mind and allow yourself time to slow down. Many guests choose Reiki as a quiet, meditative practice that creates space for rest, relaxation and reconnection.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is often chosen to encourage deep relaxation, ease feelings of stress and support a greater sense of balance and emotional wellbeing. Many guests leave feeling calmer, more grounded and rested, while others find the quiet practice creates space for reflection and clarity.
How many Reiki sessions will I need?
There is no prescribed rhythm. Some guests find a single session offers the pause and reconnection they need, while others choose to make Reiki part of their regular wellbeing ritual. Your therapist can talk to you about what feels right for you.
How might I feel after Reiki?
Many guests leave feeling deeply relaxed yet refreshed. Occasionally, you may feel tired or emotional as you unwind after your treatment. We recommend giving yourself a little space afterwards to rest, hydrate and gently return to your day.
Can I have Reiki during pregnancy?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that can be adapted throughout pregnancy, with supportive cushions and different positions used to keep you comfortable. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, any complications or concerns, we recommend speaking with your midwife or healthcare provider before booking.

Women's Health
Do you offer treatments during pregnancy?
Yes. Our Mum-to-Be Massage has been thoughtfully designed to support the changing needs of pregnancy, helping to ease tension, improve comfort and encourage deep relaxation.
The treatment is performed using warm Hydrotherm water cushions and our own Hedgerow by agua botanical products for complete comfort.
We also recommend our Diamond Luminous Facial or our carefully curated Maternity Package for expectant mothers.
For your safety, we do not offer treatments during the first trimester (1–12 weeks) or massage treatments from 33 weeks onwards.
Our therapists receive advanced Level 6 pre- and post-natal massage training through the JING Institute, ensuring your treatment is delivered with the highest level of care and expertise.
Do you offer treatments following a mastectomy?
Yes. Our signature Bust Blossom treatment was created specifically to support guests following a mastectomy, in collaboration with the JING Institute, Eve Lom MBE and Hydrotherm.
This gentle 60-minute treatment focuses on the upper body to encourage relaxation, improve mobility, support posture and breathing, and ease areas of tension that can develop following surgery.
Using our own Hedgerow by agua botanical products, herbal hot compresses and Hydrotherm water cushions, the treatment provides a deeply nurturing experience in a safe and supportive environment.
If you're unsure whether this treatment is right for you, our therapists will be happy to discuss your individual needs before you book.
Can I still have a treatment during my menstrual cycle?
Absolutely. Many guests find massage particularly comforting during this time, helping to ease muscular tension, promote relaxation and relieve discomfort.
Simply let your therapist know during your consultation so they can personalise your treatment. Massage pressure, essential oils and facial techniques can all be adapted to how you're feeling that day.
You can also enhance your visit with one of our Ross J. Barr Period Patches, available as an optional treatment add-on. Applied to the lower back or abdomen, these warming botanical patches offer gentle comfort by stimulating traditional acupuncture points.

Which homecare brands do you stock?
Our retail collection has been carefully chosen to extend the benefits of your spa experience beyond your visit.
Alongside our professional treatment brands, you'll find:
111SKIN

Yes. Your therapist will recommend products tailored to your skin, lifestyle and wellbeing goals, helping you continue your personalised ritual at home.
Please note that some professional-use products, including certain masks and peels, are available exclusively for treatments and cannot be purchased for home use.
Do you provide product samples?
Rather than providing take-home samples, we encourage guests to experience our products as they were designed to be used.
If you'd like to try a particular product before purchasing, our therapists or reception team will be happy to demonstrate it whenever possible using our professional treatment testers, allowing you to experience the texture, fragrance and feel for yourself.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with valid agua Spa and Sea Containers London gift vouchers.
Please note that we are unable to accept personal cheques.
Can someone else pay for my treatment?
Yes. If someone would like to treat you to a spa experience, we recommend purchasing a gift voucher for either a specific treatment or a monetary value.
If you have any questions about arranging this, our reception team will be happy to help.
Can I claim my treatment through my health or workplace insurance?
Many providers allow wellness or therapeutic treatments to be claimed, although this will depend on your individual policy.
We're happy to provide an itemised invoice showing your treatment, therapist and payment details for your records.
If you require any additional documentation following your visit, please let our reception team know.
Do you offer any discounts or special offers?
Our treatment pricing varies throughout the week, with off-peak rates available Monday to Thursday and peak pricing Friday to Sunday.
We also introduce seasonal offers throughout the year, which are shared on our website and through our newsletter.
