Sunday Lyan X Port Ellen

On the 7th December we’re closing out the year with something truly special, in partnership with our pals at Port Ellen, one of the most revered distilleries in Scotch whisky history, celebrating their 200th year!

It’s no secret that whisky and Guinness are two of our favourite liquids — even better when enjoyed together! For our final Sunday Lyan of 2025, we’re teaming up with one of the most storied names in spirits. This former “ghost” distillery was closed for over 40 years, and reopened in 2024 to push the boundaries of whisky experimentation.
Their partnership with the Guinness Open Gate Brewery led to the creation of a Smoked Imperial Stout, brewed with peated barley from Port Ellen maltings, which debuted at Fèis Ìle earlier this year, alongside three cocktails created by Mr Lyan Studio.

We’ve taken this super limited edition (delicious!) stout and reimagined it as an ingredient, transformed into two unique serves, available for one night only at Lyaness - December 7th! Alongside those, we’ll also feature three cocktails built around Port Ellen new make samples, and a final flight of three drinks created by Mr Lyan Studio for Fèis Ìle.

The event kicks off at 4pm, and bookings are open and recommended — the perfect way to toast the end of a wonderful year of Sunday Lyan adventures.
