Sustainability Commitment

In 2023 we are working to establish Sea Containers London as a fully sustainable building. Doing well by doing good

By 2023, our full property will be LED, and we are continuing to drive sustainable improvements through our Capital Expenditure program each year. We are also an official member of the Heart of the City program and are committed to doing well by doing good.

Explaining ESG

Environmental covers all responsible business actions specifically related to environmental sustainability including how we purchase, manage, track, and recycle all our consumption from food to energy.

Social covers all our commitments to our team, guests, and community.

Governance is for how we bring this all together and ensure we formalise, track, train, communicate and improve all that we are doing so we can truly demonstrate our commitments.

The Waiting Room

We are honoured to be working with Dr Sukh and his Waiting Room Project, hosting his extraordinary interviews and guests. The interviews are an amazing collection of humans, from celebrity names to people with no public profile, that have shared their incredible personal stories of survival, heartbreak, challenges, and triumph. Covering topic such as childhood bullying, depression and mental health, sexual abuse and recovery from illness such as cancer, these stories are relatable, sometimes uncomfortable and unforgettable.
