Family Adventures on the South Bank

Sea Containers London is your family-friendly hotel on the South Bank - in the heart of London’s cultural scene, with world-class arts venues, iconic landmarks, and award-winning attractions on our doorstep.

Family adventures start the moment you step outside. Perfectly positioned on the pedestrianised South Bank, our hotel is your gateway to London’s most iconic landmarks, cultural hotspots, and riverside strolls. Explore the London Eye, Tate Modern, Southbank Centre, and Borough Market - all within easy walking distance - or wander across Waterloo or Blackfriars Bridge to discover Covent Garden, Soho, the City, and beyond.

With first-hand experience of travelling with kids, we know it’s the little things that make a trip memorable. Our interconnecting rooms and suites, kids’ menu at Sea Containers Restaurant, and thoughtful home-from-home touches are all designed to help you and your family relax, explore, and feel at home.

Family Rooms & Suites

Family groups of all sizes are welcome at Sea Containers London - your anchor on London's South Bank. Keep everyone close with our interconnecting Family Rooms and Suites, with spacious bathrooms and comfortable, cloud-like beds. Enjoy all the comforts of home and more!

Family Adventure

Make it a fun family stay at Sea Containers London, with playful touches for our VIKs (Very Important Kids under 12). Little ones can enjoy our Explorer Hunt while the big kids hang out down at minus two - playing our retro arcade machines or catching a movie at Curzon Sea Containers.

Up at ground level, take a break and watch the South Bank go by with coffee, pastries and board games in The Den, or visit our family-friendly restaurant, Sea Containers, where you'll find something for all ages - plus that iconic riverside view.

Local Adventures

We're lucky to be within walking distance of many iconic London landmarks.

Take in the city skyline with a ride on the London Eye, before venturing to Sea Life London Aquarium for an afternoon of marine discovery. If the British weather is not playing ball, there's plenty to explore at creative hub the Southbank Centre, or if it's a cultural fix you're after, the art gallery Tate Modern and the National Theatre are a short walk along the South Bank to the east and west.

We also have plenty going on at Sea Containers London, from movie screenings in our cinema, Curzon Sea Containers, to events in our buzzing outlets.
