This October London Cocktail Week will be a month-long celebration of the capital’s fantastic drinks scene, with bespoke signature cocktails and immersive experiences in hundreds of the best bars in the city.
Sea Containers London is one of the key hubs at the centre of London Cocktail Week, hosting a programme of events and exclusive takeovers from the likes of Grey Goose and Angel’s Envy throughout the hotel, including its two bars – the multi-award winning Lyaness and rooftop lounge 12th Knot. Providing a perfect base for visiting cocktail connoisseurs, the hotel will also be offering a 15% discount to all guests who quote LONCOCKTAIL when booking.
Our next Sunday Lyan session on 25 October will be hosted by the one and only Declan MGurk. Declan has been a longterm friend of the Lyan company since his days encouraging our tequila love with Speciality Brands. Although he's best known for his history leading the iconic American Bar (more on that to come), his days running bars in Leeds and his inimitable presentation and storytelling style are experiences that really show his class. If you ever had a chance to make it to Trio in Leeds, or to enjoy a night partying with the big man, then you'll understand how excited we are to collaborate with him for a very special Sunday Lyan!
Breath in the crisp, autumnal air and enjoy seasonal servings, in the Destination Grey Goose hideaway at Sea Containers London. Paying homage to the vodka’s soft winter wheat, the limited-edition menu will feature a range of innovative options, including Citrus Goose, a refreshing blend of Grey Goose L’original, grapefruit peel infused St. Germain, homemade camomile & orange peel syrup, lime juice, grapefruit juice, orange & cardamom bitters, or Parisian Dream, made with Grey Goose L’original, Ricard Pastis, apple juice, lime juice, sugar syrup, a dash of Boker’s Bitters.
Budding bourbon connoisseurs should head to Lyaness to experience the Angel’s Envy Tasting & Finishing School. Guests will be enjoying a special session hosted by Will Meredith, Lyaness head bartender, in collaboration with Gianluca Pavanello Canella, Angel's Envy brand ambassador. The 1.5 hours long session will focus on the Angel’s Envy finishing process and how this craft is reflected in the Lyaness approach to ingredients and cocktails. Classes will be held on 22 and 29 October, with x2 slots per day, and include two cocktails per person.
