July in London

We’re taking full advantage of this sunny weather, and in general, the summer that we always long for. So if you’re able to pry yourself away from our vibrant Laurent Perrier Summer Terrace, there’s heaps to do in London this month, from colourful Pride celebrations to Wimbledon, and the start of festival season. Summer, we are fully invested in you!

Sea Containers London

Pride at Sea Containers (4 – 6 July)
Year on year, Pride celebrations in London have gotten bigger and better, and this year looks to top them all, so we’re thrilled to be recognising this colourful weekend. Kick starting the celebrations with a glitter fest screening of the award-winning small hit film, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, showing in Curzon on Thursday 4 July, followed by the unique South East London hairdressers Tutti Fruitti, who’ll be popping up in our gallery space on Saturday 6 July to get anyone and everyone glam before the parade. Basically, we’ve got you covered this Pride!

Tuesday Takeover (Every Tuesday this July)
Teamwork makes the dream work, and our latest Tuesday Takeover in 12th Knot, is well worth shouting about. We’ve got the talented team from Ugly Dumpling in the kitchen, serving up a mouth-watering menu. So if you’re feeling both savoury and sweet dumpling delights such as aromatic duck, satay chicken, and strawberry cheesecake, then get yourself to 12th Knot starting from the 9 July.

Wimbledon (24 June – 14 July)
Grab your strawberries and Champagne, and those blankets because it’s the return of one of our favourite summertime staples, Wimbledon. If you haven’t managed to nab tickets (don’t worry, us neither!), you can catch the action on the outdoor screen up on Murray Mound or many other places that’ll be showing the games around London. Chin chin!

Underbelly Festival (July – 29 September)
If there’s one festival that can be labelled fun and packed full, you can guarantee that it’s Underbelly. Whether it’s circus, theatre, cabaret, comedy or music, you won’t be short of things to do at this festival on the South Bank, and if it’s anything like last year, the alfresco eating and drinking options are always worth visiting too. We hear there’s a Pimm’s Hut, so we’ll see you there…

Laurent Perrier Summer Terrace (Ongoing)
Champagne, seafood platters and views across the Thames as your backdrop – this is where you want to spend most of your summer. With a seafood inspired terrace menu, and Laurent Perrier Champagne, your alfresco dining experience will almost have you thinking you’re beach side thanks to our Summer Terrace.

Three cheers for summer!
