Skyline Stretch (6 and 19 January)
Shake up your fitness goals this winter, as we’re partnering with Core Collective to bring you Skyline Stretch. We’ll be hosting two classes: Stretch & Mobility and Power Yoga so expect to move, feel and perform better. And 12th Knot itself is perfect for that extra and much-needed headspace thanks to it’s views and uplighting interior. Basically working out has never looked so good – let’s get sweaty! Nab your tickets here.

Sunday Lyan (12 and 26 January)
Join Lyaness for two Sunday Lyans like no other. On Sunday 12 January they’ll be teaming up with their pals at Balvenie for something a little different so expect six Australian bartenders and some incredible creations. And on Sunday 26 January, Lyaness will be hosting a Glenfiddich x Burns Night, workshopping a unique ingredient for a one off menu. Hope to see you down here for a taster!

Fairview at the Young Vic (until 23 January)
Following a ground-breaking sell-out run in New York, Jackie Sibblies Drury’s Fairview is an interrogation of our subtly destructive preconceptions.  The winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this is well worth a watch. And if you don’t quite want to settle for a quick sandwich before the show, enjoy two courses and a glass of bubbles for £25 in Sea Containers Restaurant. We’ll not only save you walking the extra mile, but we’ll fill you up on the good stuff ensuring that your show is all you think about!

Hammamii comes to agua Spa (13 January)
We’re super excited to introduce not one but two new hammam rituals to our treatment list in agua Spa, from leading Middle Eastern skincare brand Hammamii. First in Europe and with incredible results – this is the detoxifying treatment you need to kickstart 2020. Find out more here.

Spa Social (14 January)
Socialise with your bestie and indulge in a fun and relaxing evening, with the return of Spa Social. Wrap yourself up in oversized bathrobes and enjoy evening use of agua Spa’s relaxation lounge. Apply mudpacks and step into our steam rooms before washing off underneath our heavenly rain showers, and soothe away any stresses with mini head, shoulder and neck massages. Complete the evening with glasses of Laurent-Perrier Champagne and a healthy food bowl from the agua Spa cuisine menu. It’s time to chill so call agua Spa on + 44 (0)20 3747 1010 to secure your spot.

Sea Containers London turns one (14 January)
It’s our very first birthday on the 14 January and to celebrate, we’ve got a week of fun things happening over on our Instagram page (including a giveaway, or seven). So follow along and be sure to enter because you really won’t want to miss out!

Bridget Riley at Hayward Gallery (until 26 January)
Devoted to the work of celebrated British artist Bridget Riley, Hayward Gallery presents a major retrospective exhibition spanning over 70 years worth of her work. It’s the largest and most comprehensive of Bridget’s work to date, and brings together the iconic black-and-white paintings of the 1960s, expansive canvases in colour, and recent wall paintings. Once you’ve admired the incredible work of Bridget, take a stroll along to Sea Containers Restaurant and enjoy dishes from our All Day dining menu. It sounds like a perfect day to us.

Lightopia (22 January – 1 March)
Step into a world like no other, as Chiswick House Gardens brings you Lightopia. With magical trials of lanterns and light installations, acrobats, musicians and sculptures, Lightopia is an interactive place allowing you to become part of the immersive experience. No experience is complete without food and drink stalls where you can guarantee that there’s plenty for everyone. Take the family for a fun day out!

Chinese New Year (26 January)
One of the biggest celebrations outside of Asia, Chinese New Year is celebrating the Year of the Rat for 2020. Expect a colourful parade, stage performances and a whole host of traditional Chinese food, so get yourself down to Chinatown and Trafalgar Square – and get involved!

Judging by January, it’s set to be a good year!
